: Matrix 32 Weekender Intro & specifications:
The Matrix 32 Weekender Houseboat is essentially a unique trimaran Lodgeboat .
The motorised option (Cat D) will give the freedom to simply cast off and explore or move on to another mooring.
The Matrix 32 can also be used as a floating static which makes for a super weekend Family Waterside Retreat, Fishing Lodge, Holiday Let, Marina Sales Office, Floating Café, etc. Alternatively even an affordable City Riverside Chic Liveaboard.
The MX32 is housed on the Matrix Pontoon System.
34 unique isolated Matrix pontoons arranged in three rows, with water displacing shaped bow and stern pontoons.
Each of the 34 pontoons is individually watertight, made from robust 7mm thick Roto-moulded PE (Polyethylene) this provides a massive reserve of buoyancy and guarantees the vessel against sinking in the unlikely event of damage.
The strong (50x100mm) aluminium beams then secured to the Pontoons, decked with composite and timber decking.
A large (650x325cm) self-contained internal living area made from 45mm timbers (Natural Spruce)
With double-glazed windows and insulated floor and ceilings. There is a spacious 22sq meters of internal floor area in total.
A door to the skipper's double bedroom (140х200cm), and if needed a bunk bed open area or second fold up bed. (70x200cm) adjacent to the stern.
A shower and toilet fitted in the self-contained room (80x200cm). The toilet can be fed with overboard water and a 450Lt sewage tank etc. this can be fitted in one of the pontoons if necessary or a simple chemical toilet.
The galley is fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, sink, etc.). Fresh water is stored by isolating one or more of the pontoon pods, which hold up to 450 litres of clean fresh water. Wastewater storage if needed can also be isolated in another of the pontoons.
Electric or LPG gas hot water, is also fitted easily incorporated by a professional.
A large sliding glass door leads off the saloon area onto the foredecks open sun deck, where you can also fit the steering helm. With a second decked area at the stern and a ladder leading up to a large non-slip top deck/fly bridge, there is a total of 35sq meters of outside living area.
All the outside areas are fitted with painted aluminium handrails and enclosed bow rails guard for child and dog-friendly safety, these can also be fitted to the stern and upper deck rails, POA. The Matrix 32 has a strong aluminium surround collar for protection, and mooring cleats. The aluminium transom will take up to a (44 kW) outboard, but for calm inland waterways 15hp is sufficient.We have a high Thrust Yamaha outbourd available POA,
